I am a Swedish professional football goalkeeper who plays for Chelsea FC Women. I am born on the 29th of April 1983.
I previously played club football in Sweden for Damallsvenskan clubs including Malmö FF, Linköpings FC, Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC and Kristianstads DFF.
Since making my international debut in 2002, I have accrued 152 caps for the Swedish Women’s national football team.
On 3rd August 2014 I played my 100th cap against England. On 17th September 2015 I played my 113th cap and I thereby broke Elisabeth Leidinge's record to become the most capped Swedish female goalkeeper.
On 24th October 2017 I broke the record in number of caps played by any goalkeeper in Sweden, male or female, when I played my 144th cap in a game against Hungary.
I have kept goal for Sweden at the UEFA Women’s Championship, the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the Olympic Games. Nine times as a starting goalkeeper and three times as a back up keeper. That makes me one of the most experienced players of all time in Sweden in terms of experience from international tournaments. I have also had experience from participating in the UEFA Women's Cup/UEFA Women's Champions League.
I have one World Cup silver, one World Cup bronze, two bronze medals from the EURO and an Olympic silver. I have won the Swedish cup twice and I have won the English FA WSL and the FA CUP twice.
I was picked as the best female goalkeeper in Sweden on seven occasions and as the best female football player at two occasions. In march 2018 I was voted for as the goalkeeper in the World 11, presented by FIFpro.
